PROFESSIONAL PROVIDER OF SUPERVISED VISITATION TRAINING

Professional Provider Supervised Visitation Training is a comprehensive training program designed to equip you as a Professional Provider,  with an understanding of the basic principles and practices of supervised visitations; including your neutral third party role as a monitor. Our training will cover in complete, comprehensive detail the proper skills deemed necessary to conduct safe, neutral monitored visits. 


Professional Provider of Supervised Visitation ensure the safety and well being of children during visits with Non-Custodial parent, until the court process is complete or monitoring is ordered indefinitely by a judge. 


Professional Providers can earn $25 plus an hour, while serving a worthwhile purpose in our community. Monitors can also apply to work for a supervised visitation agency; such as ours.


This training is in compliance with the 2021 Uniform Standards of the Court California Rules of Court  Code 3200.5 and 5.20 for Professional Providers.  

What Are the Qualifications to Become a Professional Providers of Supervised  Visitation in the State of California?


  The MANDATORY QUALIFICATION OF MONITORS for the STATE OF CALIFORNIA

1. Be at least 21 years old.

2. Have a Livescan and Trustline Background. 

3. Have no record of a conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) within last five years.

4. You must not have been on probation or parole for the last 10 years.

5. You must have no record of a conviction for child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person.

6. You must have proof of automobile insurance if transporting the child.

7. You must have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last 10 years.

8.  You must have no current or past court order in which the provider is the person being supervised.

9. You must be able to speak the language of the party being supervised and of the child, or provider must provide a neutral interpreter over 18 years of age who is able to do so.

10. You must agree to adhere to and enforce the court order regarding supervised visitation.

11. You must have 24 hours of Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor Training

Safe Haven Child Visits will SOON offer a Professional Training class, which meets all of the qualifications and is in compliance with the 

24 hours of training standard. This training is broken up into three 8 hour per day training sessions with a live instructors.
